I created this caramel popcorn charcuterie board for our family movie night and it quickly became everyone's favorite treat-sharing tradition!
Ingredients
- Caramel Popcorn: 8 cups caramel popcorn (store-bought or homemade)
- Chocolate & Sweets: 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels, 1 cup assorted chocolates (truffles, squares, or bark), 1 cup mini marshmallows, 1/2 cup chocolate chips or candy-coated chocolates (e.g. M&Ms)
- Nuts & Seeds: 3/4 cup roasted salted almonds, 3/4 cup pecan halves, 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas), optional
- Dried & Fresh Fruits: 3/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries, 1 cup green grapes (washed and removed from stems), 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
- Crackers & Cookies: 1 cup butter crackers or graham crackers, 1 cup vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies
Instructions
- Arrange Caramel Popcorn:
- Place the caramel popcorn as the focal point in the center or along one side of a large platter or board.
- Add Chocolates & Sweets:
- Position chocolates, chocolate-covered pretzels, and mini marshmallows in small clusters or bowls around the popcorn.
- Include Nuts & Seeds:
- Add nuts and seeds in separate sections for easy access.
- Add Fruit:
- Scatter dried fruits near the nuts and arrange fresh fruits in attractive piles.
- Fill With Crackers & Cookies:
- Fill empty spaces with crackers and cookies to add crunch and variety.
- Balance & Present:
- Alternate colors and textures, and keep similar items grouped together for a visually appealing board.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately, or cover loosely with plastic wrap until ready to serve.
